01Cashier
Take money, nothing else
Accept payments and issue receipts at their store. No access to balances, payouts, reports or other stores.
Business · Stores and staff
One merchant account, several stores, and staff who can take money without seeing everything else. Every transaction carries the store and the person who took it.
01
Three levels, and the boundaries between them are the point.
02
Three roles cover almost every business we have spoken to.
01Cashier
Accept payments and issue receipts at their store. No access to balances, payouts, reports or other stores.
02Manager
Everything a cashier can do, plus that store's reports, refunds within a limit, and adding or removing its staff.
03Owner
All stores, the account balance, payouts, settlement destinations, pricing and the permission model itself.
04Every role
Actions are recorded against the person, not the store. Attribution is what makes a discrepancy answerable.
03
Yes. A staff member can hold a role at several stores, and each sale records which store it happened at.
Remove them and their sessions end immediately on every device. Their past transactions stay attributed to them in the record.
No. Settlement is at the account level, with reports broken down by store. Separate settlement needs separate accounts.
