How we work
We are a small team holding a large surface: three products, two currencies, a physical agent network and the compliance obligations that come with all of it. That shape rules out a certain kind of role. There is no layer of the company whose job is to describe work that someone else does.
Decisions are written down and made quickly. Most things are reversible; the ones that are not — anything touching the ledger, limits or customer funds — go slowly and get reviewed by more than one person on purpose.
We work in the market we serve. Everyone, whatever their role, spends time watching real people use the product at a counter, in a colmado, or at a kitchen table.

Every role sits in a published internal band with a defined range. We tell you the band and where in it your offer sits, and why.

Equipment and connectivity covered
A machine of your choosing, a home connectivity allowance, and a desk in Santo Domingo if you want one.
04Time
Leave you are expected to take
Twenty days of paid leave plus local holidays, with a minimum we actively enforce rather than a maximum we quietly track.

The hiring process
Four conversations, about three weeks, no surprise stages added mid-process.

- 02First conversationForty-five minutes with the person you would work with most. Mutual scoping: what the role really is, what you want next.
- 03Practical sessionA paid exercise from real product territory, or a walkthrough of work you already own. Two hours, never spec work we would ship.
- 04Team and offerConversations with two or three people you would work alongside, a reference call, then a written offer with the band explained.

Common questions
Do I need to be in the Dominican Republic?
For most roles, no — we hire across AST ±3 so the day overlaps. Operations, compliance and some support roles are Santo Domingo based because the work is physically local.
Do I need financial services experience?
Not for product, design or most engineering roles. For risk, compliance and treasury roles, yes — that experience is the job.
What languages does the team work in?
Spanish and English, daily and interchangeably. Customer-facing roles need both; engineering roles need enough English to read and write technical material.
Do you take speculative applications?
Yes, and we keep them for six months. Be specific about what you would own — a general interest note is hard to act on.
