Product Designer
Design how money feels across three apps — people, merchants and agents — so that anyone can explain, out loud, what just happened to their money.
About Paydoly
Paydoly is building the payments network for the Dominican Republic: wallets for people, tools for merchants, payouts for teams and a cash agent network that connects them — on one balance, in pesos and dollars. Paydoly Inc. is our US parent company; Paydoly Dominicana, S.R.L. is our Dominican operating company. We're a small team holding a large surface, and the work ships to real counters fast.
The role
Paydoly has three sides — personal, business and agents — and each has users with very different levels of digital confidence. Our design standard is simple to say and hard to meet: every screen must make it obvious what is about to happen and what just happened.
You'll design end-to-end flows across the apps and the merchant portal, run research in the field, and help evolve our design system.
What you'll do
- Design end-to-end flows across the consumer app, merchant app, agent app and portal
- Run field research at counters, colmados and kitchen tables, and turn it into decisions
- Write interface copy with product and compliance so every fee, status and error is clear
- Prototype and test interactions, from Quick Sell scanning to payout approvals
- Contribute to and maintain the Paydoly design system
- Partner with engineers through build and release
What you'll bring
- Four or more years designing digital products, with a portfolio showing shipped work
- Strong interaction design and visual craft
- Experience running research with real users outside the office
- Clear writing — you treat words as part of the design
- Comfort with Figma and prototyping tools
- Fluent Spanish and professional English
Nice to have
- Experience designing financial or payments products
- Experience designing for low-literacy or first-time digital users
- Motion or prototyping in code
- Experience building a design system
